About

Based in a pretty part of Surrey, DeneWest Designs (named after our estate) are a couple of amateur photographers, one of whom just loves to play with digital image manipulation and filters, just to see what will happen to the vast collection of photographs we've collected. We take photographs wherever we can - from the comfort of our garden to much further afield, as we ramble, camp, climb or just relax in the wonderful landscapes nature provides.

Printed Collection

Deciding to turn some of our digitally enhanced work into items for general sale, DeneWest are currently using a number of external companies to create products. (Unfortunately, we don't have access to our own or a local printing press yet, which does mean relying on other companies.)  The good thing about using these sites is that they will often send our products worldwide. Although we can't guaruntee the quality of the items produced by the companies we have chosen, we are keen to have our digital artwork turned into good products that people can enjoy for a long time. We are always grateful for any feedback on the purchased products to help us hone our printing choices. Please use our contact form if you need to get in touch, or visit the Facebook page.

RedBubble

RedBubble offer a range of products we like, especially tote bags, cushions, duvets, skins, and even leggings! We like the way they allow us a lot of freedom to manage the way our designs appear on products. Unfortunately, their postage and packing charges can be a little pricey and are not as low as we would choose if we could. We also know that their reviews can be very mixed, particularly when it comes to the quality of their clothing - it's very important to follow their washing instructions if you want your products to last (many people have failed to do so, hence the reviews!). However, we have purchased items items from RedBubble and are big fans of their tote bags and cushion covers...

CafePress

CafePress offer an alternative collection of items to RedBubble, which allows us to try our designs out on different products, including jewellery, stationery, clothing and home decor. Their products can sometimes be printed in your home country, reducing the postage and packing costs, which we like. We do struggle with the design process on this site, as it is often difficult to place our images on a product in just the way we would like. And as with all these kinds of sites, CafePress get mixed online reviews. We intend to purchase a few items from CafePress soon, so we'll update this review on receipt. We're particularly pleased that they do cloth patches, as we do love to add to our camping blanket!

Zazzle

As with CafePress and RedBubble above, we like the different variety of products Zazzle offers. Zazzle do allow a little bit more freedom with the design placement than CafePress, but the have the same postage issue as RedBubble (i.e. a bit pricey at times). We like their huge collection of products and, as with CafePress, we're hoping to order some items soon to personally check on quality, so we'll update our review soon...
